In a wood on the Hants/Surrey border

Posted under Uncategorized

Rosie and I are currently spending a couple of weeks parked up in a nice little site between Bordon and Farnham. We were due to do the RockNRoots festival, but it was cancelled due to licensing issues and so we lose more money and had no festival over the bank holiday weekend.

We made up for the lack of festie, by visiting a National Trust property, The Vyne near Basingstoke, and followed this up with a visit to the lovely Omally and Tammy for coffee. We got to cuddle the fluffies and talk toot for a while, which was good.

We intended to avoid spending too much and have been pretty good, until on a trip to a camping shop to get some toilet fluid, we bought an awning for the mertor-home, a portable rotary dryer for our washing and forgot the toilet gunk. The justification for the awning however is strong as it gives us an extra room to keep the van clear of stuff while we are parked and at festies it will serve as an office/dining room.

We have no huge plans for the rest of our time off till our next and last festival which is Weyfest, but we do want to get over to see Henners and Trouty which is a long overdue visit.

Love and peace
